Nisala Guest -Galle Dutch Fort

It was inside the Galle Fort itself. No need to hire a tuk tuk to see the Dutch Fort. The guest house is just inside middle of the Fort. Just walk 5 to 10 minutes on either side to the corner of the Fort. Go up and enjoy. Bea h is also just at 5 minutes of walk from the property. All most all the points which tuk tuk people want to take you either inside the Fort or just outside of the boundary of the Fort. You will find outside of the Fort such as Galle Railway station, Galle Cricket Stadium , Buddhist Temple and Hindu Temple opposite of Railway station. And Bus stand Djoining the Railway station. The property is at great location.

It is a home stay. The old construction/house is renovated. They should improve the stair case and put something or colour the floor of the room to give a nice look. Otherwise it is a clean guest house, happy and helpful host. They welcome the guest with cold beverages free of cost. Moreover, incase of need they provide the filter drinking water also.

I booked a room for $20. But the owner first charged me 6700rupees. $20 is about 6057rupees. So I asked why, showing currency converter. But she was like, "then, how about 6500rupees?". No explanation. I felt she was really dishonest. Plus, she asked me what time to check out, so I answered 11:00am, which is before the check out time of 12. Then she said "why don't you check out before 11?". Again, no explanation. I think this property should stop posting wrong price and check out time info on booking sites. Cleanliness should be improved as well.

the location is amazing the hosts were very kind to us helped us out and pinned our.laundry when I forgot to. it is not luxury but I would stay again if I was in Galle. the price is amazing for the inside of the fort. if you want a clean basic room with a great family looking after you this is the place.

Central location what great. Family of homestay looked after us well. Air conditioning was a god send in very hot conditions.
