"Excellent"

The room was just nice for a solo traveller! It was cozy, quite clean and had sufficient soap and toilet paper.

The location is 25-min walk from york station, so be prepared! The room was a little cramped, so I did drop a few things and broke some of my things in the bathroom.

We had a great stay at Grand Lodge in York. The property is very clean throughout, which made it feel really comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is fantastic it's just 10-15 minute walk into the city centre, making it incredibly convenient for exploring attractions.
