Main reason moved here from Casa Minha backpackers was because they said had wifi (& had no cats unlike CM’s which I had an allergic reaction to! BUT NO WIFI (Manageress who was away until my last afternoon said it was Telemor’s fault, but other residents said check reviews, because many other people said they’d been misinformed as well!) Microwave didn’t work. And not their fault but school next door has guy on loudspeaker for almost an hour from 0715. Other morning there was nearby awful singing/music from 0530

Secure, good value for money. Comfortable room with a functional kitchenette. Hot water shower in the bathroom.

There was no in-house restaurant or bar, and contrary to the write-up, no breakfast was offered. Nor was there any fruit placed in the room, as also mentioned in the write-up. There was no WiFi. There were plenty of mosquitoes in the room, but no spray.

Cheap, guard tried the best to communicate dispite language barrier.

Kitchenware not all cleaned, some are left in the sink. AC not powerful. Manager who can speak english is not full-time on-site, only the guard is on-site 24/7 while the guard can only use Bahasa Indonesia to explain with you.

The character and ambience of this compounded Guest House was very appealing to us . The lovely fountain courtyard,with tables and chairs, and the tropical gardens in front of our Suite ( no.7) were so relaxing after the busyness and noise of the town centre . A very quiet and peaceful haven ! The waterfront was just a short walk away and it has lovely sea breezes and many shady trees and seating. There are numerous supermarkets and bakeries and cafes close by. The Tourist Information Office is on the waterfront and has many English Brochures . We loved our accommodation, as it had a huge comfortable bed , a small sitting room and a compact kitchen and an adequate bathroom + little terrace overlooking the lush palm garden with seating . It is a little "tired," but perfectly clean, and serviced regularly. All the staff were very friendly and more than willing to help us with any issues .Cilla on reception was a great help getting us to Baucau, and other thing's . As stated by numerous reviews...there is NO internet so we used our own WiFi, but it is hideously slow in Timor Leste . Not sure why they don't delete it from Booking.com. A delightful place to stay if you want something unusual and atmospheric.

Simple guest house, air-conditioning, laundry. Eat at EMA, best food in town

Need local e sim, but it looks like fibre for wifi being wired in the streets

Location was great! Walking distance from nice restaurants, the waterfront and a mini market.

A hot tub, please stop lying! No wifi, no breakfast, no safe, no airport transportation so definitely no hot tub! One of the guys always asked for money, very annoying!
