Deshon Qala Guest House

I liked the discretion and unobtrusive attitude towards guests. On Google Maps and Maps.cz the location is not precise or incorrect. You have to use Yandex. The lack of a number at the gate makes it difficult to reach your destination. It would be worth doing something about the smell.

Very rich and tasty breakfast. Very quite place, in front of the south gate of the old city. The host arranged a shared taxi to Bukhara.

Guesthouse is just a few minutes walk from all locations you have to visit in Khiva, just a minute walk from entrance to Ichan Kala. It is cousy, comfortable, nice and clean.

I missed a lamp next to my bed. Everything was fine.

The hotel was perfect value for money. The staff were very kind and very helpful. Our room did not have any special view, but on the terrace where you could have your breakfast or tea, the view was pretty good. Staff at the reception spoke good English, for which we were grateful. The room was clean and facilities were good. The location was excelent, only a few steps from the city walls entrance.

There were not too much other backpackers while I was there, but maybe it was not during the good season.

Good location, great host and breakfast :). Definitely worth the price. The hotel is well managed, clean anda cozy.
