Unfortunately, Anchors Rest Guest House and Self Catering is unable to accommodate bookings for stag/hen parties or school leavers ('Matric Rage'). Any such bookings will be canceled, with no refund given. The hotel apologizes for any inconvenience. Please note that the total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking for 1-night stays. Anchor's Rest is a small owner-run and managed Guest House. Check-in time is from 14:00 to 20:00 on weekdays, and from 14:00 to 18:00 over the weekend. The property cannot accommodate late check-ins.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

The location in Umhlanga is absolutely perfect, walking distance to all the restaurants and pubs. From the start, everything was handled very personally and professionally. Nosipho's (the chef) omelette is the best I have ever eaten, superb array of options for breakfast. The accommodation, the room was very well appointed, attention to detail is superb. "BEST GUESTHOUSE STAY EVER!"

"Great location, quiet and lovely set up"

We had to self catering room it was absolutely superb very well set up Comfortable outside with seated area and some beds are required, plus barbecue The staff were a delighted and Cilla the owner was just a wonderful lady

Jammer dat we de eigenaren niet ontmoet hebben en er niemand in de bar was. Dat zag er op de foto’s gezellig uit, maar was het bij ons niet
