Lisbon Belém Guesthouse

Really great location with a parking nearby (there were a plenty free parking slots in the evenings) and it was clean both in the appartment as well as in the kitchen.

we lived in the upper floor which was separated from the kitchen only by glass (no real wall), we heard everything from downstairs (when people talking to each other and I can assume that they heard every our step on the floor as it was a bit unstable), bathroom was very damp and it was unable to make towels dried (so much humid there). It reminded us a student dormitory rather than an appartment (we spent a few nights in 2 other appartments during the holiday so we might compare a bit :) )

The room is on the 2nd floor with a small (but enough) balcony, have a great view toward the monument, our room is suite A, which have access to a shared kitchen and sitting room, there are lots of dinning option right at door steps and the park is full of life in the day time, it is also very close to main tourist spots, 5 mins to the monastery, and around 10 mins walk to Belem tower.

The door at the main entrance is a bit tricky to open, you have to pull the door straight, align with the threshold in order to turn the key and open it. It might be a bit challenging to lift your suitcase upstairs.

The location is very good - close to Lisbon, nice cafe downstairs to have breakfast. The room is of a generous size, but as for family - divided with a curtain is not good, even doesn't stop the light from getting through. Beds are ok. There's a washing machine - it's handy. Contactless check-in and -out, the host is responsive if you need something.

The kitchen is shared with neighbors - we knew that, but not very convenient to do the proper cooking if your schedules differ. Bathroom really needs some refurbishment - to make a proper ventilation and remove mold - it even smells with dampness((

The location is great, convenient check in. On the days we stayed there was heavy rain, water was coming into the room from the ceilings and the floor was wet, there was a very unpleasant smell in the room, especially near the walls. I don't know what it could be, but it's not the smell of the sea as the owner said. Unfortunately, it was unpleasant to sleep and be in the room for all three days. For the price we paid, you can look for better options.

Nice position, sunny, quite clean

I understand is a old house, but the apt 1 is a damn torture if you have noisy guest up to you at apt 2. This is not insonorized even a bit, every step, word, fart, from other guests is audible. The apt need urgent works in general, water is dropping from roof in bathroom and is stinky, and I'm quite tolerant as I'm non stop travelling worker. Definitely too expensive for what is offering.
