Traveller's Villa

The property is located around a beautiful garden among the tea fields. Our host was super welcoming and gave us a ton of recommendations! He also arranged a tea field tour for us and it was amazing. Hatton wasn’t in our plans originally but thanks to him it became the favorite part of our trip.

Really lovely villa, very tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. One of the nicest we have stayed in along the trail. Super friendly and interesting host, who supplied us with lovely home cooked dinner and breakfast. Totally recommended for all.

It's a small villa with private balcony with view on the tea plantations. Everything was completely new and very clean. Breakfast was very good and owner super friendly. Very good value for the price

Only thing was that the blankets provided were very small and thin, so we were freezing in the night time. Except from that everything was good :)

My favourite stay while in Sri Lanka. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating, I felt very at ease. The room was modern and clean. Excellent wifi provided. Delicious breakfast served. Overall, great value for money.

Dhammika and his family were wonderful hosts. The room was lovely and spacious, clean, well lit and modern. The hot shower was amazing! Balcony views overlook rice fields with the sound of stream running and birds. Food was DELICIOUS - we especially loved the hoppers, mushroom curry, pumpkin curry and green/coconut salad - the best food we have had in Sri Lanka! We stayed 3 nights and were sad to leave. Highly recommend :)

The host speak a very good english, and has been Very kind and helpful. He offered me a juice as soon as i get there and gave me great suggestions on what to do in the area. He also has a tuk tuk and is always willing to drive you around the area (he room me to adam’s Peek in the middle of the night) but is no pushy about it. The food I had was great and the apartment looks pretty new and very clean (european standard, i’d say), tidy and smells good. The area is a bit off the beaten track, but worth a trip (tea plantations all around, lake views, nice locals) and is very easy to reach by bus from Hatton.

very clean and comfortable room. enough space and very helpful and friendly host - took his time to explain us everything. we could rent a scooter there and drove to some waterfalls, which were recommended by the host. we could order lunch and dinner there as well - theres one other restaurant in walking distance. we got everything we needed and felt comfortable there.

the region is quite expensive compared to other areas in sri lanka.

Our host was just fantastic! He made sure that we were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The surroundings of the property are great. We took an evening stroll in a tea plantation and could stay for sunset, with views on Adam's Peak. The good thing is that this is a small building with two identical rooms/bathrooms. Not a crowdy hotel with loads of tourists. We asked if we could get some food for the evening meal... it was outstandingly delicious and not too spicy! Breakfast was also outstanding.

I was looking for a comfortable room to rest before hiking adams peak through the night. This room was perfect. Roughly 45 minute drive away. The hosts were very welcoming, bringing breakfast to my room the morning after knowing I was on a tight schedule. They made egg hoppers and lentil curry which was delicious.
