Sizeable bedroom and bathroom. Lots of windows so nice and bright. Parking space very useful. Convenient for arrival / departure being on the road into Whitby. Very little noise from elsewhere in the building. Good communication and easy self check-in. Easy walk into town for anyone with reasonable mobility.

Others have mentioned traffic noise which is inevitable, but quiet at night when it matters and no noise from fellow guests.

The owner is a very nice Lady and the Guesthouse is in a good location 10 minutes from the town centre.We arrived early but were allowed to leave our gear and change clothes having travelled by motorbike.The room is not serviced during a short stay which we like and plenty of tea and coffee is supplied for you during the stay

The only thing that lets it down a little is traffic noise but the property is on a busy main road.Perhaps over time upgrading the window catches and seals could improve this . It didn't stop either of us from sleeping and the traffic noise is mentioned in other reviews

Size of room lovely and big also clean

Would have liked it if owner had welcomed us also for us personally the bank from whitby we had to walk up was quite steep to walk

The room was really cosy and the bed so comfy. The location's perfect as it's a ten-minute walk to the centre and parking's at the rear of the guest house.

I didn't appreciate the shower and the washbasin in the middle of the room.

The room was spotlessly clean and we had parking at the back. The room was of a good size and the bed very comfortable and huge. We had a kettle and plenty of tea , coffee and milk was available in the hallway to help yourself to . It was a pleasant walk of about 15 minutes into town, however, on returning quite a steep hill to climb.

The noise from the main road was extremely loud as we were in a room on the front so traffic up until 10pm was virtually constant and although it did ease, traffic still was going past though the night. The 3 nights we stayed, the weather was extremely warm and we would have liked to keep the windows open but the road noise would have been far too loud. The
