Good choice,good food and excellent service.

Couldn’t operate the hairdryer in my room.Luckily I had brought my own.

The hotel is entirely in keeping with the Whitby vibe. It is suitably eccentric, but in all the right places. The cafe/restaurant adjacent is a bonus. The « staff less » approach was a first for us but was fine. No issues with it at all. The hotel entrance is a portal to somewhere else.

The hotel’s location, plus single glazing, exposes guests to street noise. The street outside is narrow. Voices carry and traffic sound louder. We had ear plugs and recommend them, especially on Saturdays.

Location was brilliant. Extremely clean. Beds comfortable.

Pillows like breeze blocks, no plug by the dresser. Dirty windows no hand rail at the top flight of stairs.

Lovely little apartment right within walking distance of everything in Whitby. Clean room, quiet street, comfortable bed, nice tea/coffee facilities and a wonderful piping hot shower. Will stay here again next time we come to Whitby! It snowed while we were here which could make driving a little difficult as in the picture provided of the street below our room. Highly recommended overall
