GBThe cabin was very cosy and right by a running stream at a quiet corner of Clarens. There was everything needed in th cabin for a self-sustained stay and a welcome panel heater and gas heater option, and a wonderful electric blanket !
ZAZAZAThe cottage was in a beautiful garden which was enclosed so our doggies could safely enjoy the adventure. It was such a tranquil garden.
ZAlocation was right next to nature reserve where they have the parkrun, which is exactly what we went there for. we had our pets and this is why we chose this house. totally fenced in with a stream at the bottom of garden, safe and secure for them. lots of space for them to run, sniff and walk. bedding was very comfortable, lots of little throws around to sit outside in the cooler evenings
as a 1st timer to clarens there was no brochures or booklets in the house of things to do in the town and there really is a lot if you know about them, so that was a little disappointing. also charges for pets was not included in the booking.com price and was not aware there was an additional charge so had to do an eft of 150.00 per night per dog.
ZALoved the calm and serene nature of the location. A lovely bathroom and bedroom giving so much comfort.

We made a mistake with a booking, owner was rude with addressing it. Cold water ran out the one night. None of the cupboard doors stayed closed

Room was noisy Beds uncomfortable, mattresses and pillows were old and need replacing
ZAZAThe accommodation and sites surrounding were Great. Clarens town was great. Busy but scenic. beds were comfy. Unit was tidy and offerings well kept
We were not notified of the Backpackers establishment situated near to the Unit holding music and live events. The music started Friday as we arrived and continued late into Friday night as well as again on Saturday night. This completely destroyed any peace and serenity the unit had. Next time it may be an added benefit that the occupants coming to enjoy the peace and quiet in Clarens be notified ahead of time that there will be loud blaring music the entirety of the weekend. This took away from the weekend greatly
