Commodore Guesthouse, Seaside Holiday Suites

The living room was huge with a bay window looking out over the bay . Could sit and watch the ferries and yachts coming in to the harbour . The apartment was spotless .comfy bed too. Best self catering I have visited.

I would say the location was the only good thing about this property

First of all we weren’t given the room we paid for it should have been a suite with 2 bathrooms on the ground floor that’s what was shown when I booked. Breakfast included - this consisted of 3 cartons of orange juice 3 yogurts and a loaf bread. (We stayed for 2 nights!) The room we stayed in had loads of broken drawers and the bathroom you could barely move in it. The beds constantly squeaked every time you moved. The floorboards are broken and I almost tripped a few times. The noise from the residents upstairs was awful. Running up and down stairs and across the floors above us at 10pm at night when we trying to get our child to sleep! Also it says on booking.com that there would be free toiletries games music for children and chocolates for guests didn’t see any of this. The couch was ridiculous it was basically on the floor and we couldn’t even sit on it. I will not be staying here again or recommending.

we were working in Rothesay so the guest house was in a good location with parking and a lovely host. it was very comfortable and the rooms were a good size

the breakfast was very basic

Great location. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Our room had everything we needed and the owners supplied bread, milk, yoghurts for our short stay which was excellent service.

Lovely property, great sea views, large rooms with everything you need and very homely and cosy,lovely family very welcoming. Great wee cafe and seating area very reasonable prices.5 mins walk from dock. Would definitely go back.
