The room was more than clean. The location was excellent and it had an air conditioner perfect for the warm days of Palermo. The staff was kind and communicative. Really good experience!

We loved staying here. The building was magnificent, solid and sturdy and full of history and was a few meters down a side alley off the walking strip where the cafes, restaurants and bars were. It was extremely clean with so much character and in a perfect safe location over looking some wonderful cafe's and restaurants where the staff are warm and friendly. Everything you need is right on your doorstep and it's an enjoyable short walk to some stunning attractions. The port and some buses are just a few minutes walk in one direction and the shops and some other buses the same in the other direction. We had help booking this when we arrived in Palermo, by a lovely lady who worked in the car rental place which we took the car back to on our arrival to Palermo. The lady showed us pictures of the property, the room and balcony which instantly impressed us. But, when we arrived to the property we were shown and placed in a different room with no balcony. After a short while, I contacted the owners and asked if it was possible to have a room with a balcony and they responded swiftly. Within five / ten minutes, Sergio came back to show us the rooms with the balconies and the very first one he showed us was the one which we saw photos of and the one we initially thought we would be staying in. It had a distinctive purple / gold ceiling that was just incredible. The only thing was, was that we had to pay a further 30 euros for it. But, it was worth every penny. We had a late flight home on day of check out and Sergio kindly arranged with a neighbor for us to leave our bags and cases there while we had a shop around for some gifts to bring home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Palermo. Thank you Sergio and wife

The noise from the street: 24/7. Impossible to sleep deeply.

Good location and friendly staff.

Unfortunately the room was a bit overused... Mould on the walls in the bathroom which can be dangerous for people suffering from allergies.
