The only good thing was the central location

The room does not look at all like the pictures. The room was really small, we did not have space for opening 2 luggages at the same time. We had one window facing the inner staircase without seeing the daylight. The building is really old and the entrance was full of mold. With the same price, there are way better options in Palermo. I strongly do not recommend this facility

We liked the location of the b&b, very close to the centre and full of nice restaurants and pubs. The street where it is located is quite chaotic, therefore not a good match if you are searching for a quiet area.

Our stay was a bit troubled by the other people staying in the b&b as they were very noisy in the late hours (3-4 am).

Location

the whole building and apartment smell of rot. very high humidity in the apartment. damaged fittings in the bathroom. a makeshift wall in the bedroom, through which you can clearly hear a quiet conversation in the next room

Great location at the herat of palermo city center

We stayed in a room with only one window. However, the window opened into the apartment shaft. The building entrance was filled with a strong smell of food, and the apartment itself was very humid. The smell of humidity had permeated the walls and was quite disturbing. Since the window faced the apartment shaft, we couldn't ventilate the room. The host attended to our complaints, and we thank him for that. Nevertheless, it was not a good choice for us.

The room doesn't have windows. The bed was not comfortable.

Overall, my stay at Hotel Calamarina Centro was decent. It's located in the city center, in an old tenement building. The place was reasonably clean and offered access to a shared kitchen.

However, the main issue was the worn-out mattress on the bed, which was uncomfortable to sleep on.

Nice location with all basic amenities.

Initially got a different bed than what I was shown in the pictures but they changed the room for me which was nice The bathroom is extreemly small and water keeps coming out of the shower area Shower spray is very old Hot water issue when other people in the other room are showering ( got warm water for 3-4 min and then it became cold ) Had to climb about 50 steps ( 2 floors ) to the room

The room was in the centre of the city with a very cute italian street where is a beautiful view form the balcony, everything was super clean and cozy! I would definitely recommend!

the staff was very friendly and helpful. the location is great as well. overall, highly recommended.

there was a construction next door which causes quite some noise during the day. Also late in the night, very noisy neighbours across the building. Which for us was not a big issue but still it could have been more peaceful and possible to rest better if it was more quiet.

Great location! Good communication. We had everything we needed. it's a bit tricky with the parking, but we have found a paid parking 15 euro per the night so somehow we have managed. Another option is free parking at Cale street, but for us it was a bit too far away and also a bit risky for the car.

Definitely the location was fantastic. Couldn't be better!
