Cozy little place with garden. Very close to restaurants and both rocks. We received a warm welcome from our host Ashoka! He was there for all our questions, we had a lovely breakfast in the morning. Great value!

What I liked most was the host. He was very kind and put all his attention to our needs in order to spend the best time in the region. He booked for us everything at the best price.

Amazing big room. Good shower, nice bed. Massive and great breakfast. Super friendly hosts that help arrange whatever you would need. Nice garden with monkeys, but they don't come bother you. Nice location. Close to Lion Rock and a lot of restaurants in the direct neighbourhood.

First of all: The accommodation is top! Very nice accommodation, modern, very new air conditioning. The view from the room's own terrace is into the beautiful garden. You can see Lions Rock directly from the garden. The in-house breakfast is sumptuous and excellent. Many of the fruits and vegetables come directly from the family's garden. What we particularly liked was the host Ashoka, who fulfilled all our wishes, organized every trip and excursion for us and had many contacts. For example, we went on a great night hike to the Loris at very reasonable prices. We also had a great safari where we saw lots of elephants. We always had friendly and reliable cab drivers / tuktuk drivers organized by Ashoka! All in all, we felt at home and were sad that we hadn't booked more nights. The accommodation is truly a hidden gem! We will definitely be back! Help was also offered for the rest of our trip and we were given some tips and trips were organized. Many thanks for everything!

Ashoka was a fantastic host, very kind and considerate, with lots of helpful suggestions of things to do and support with organising transport. Would really recommend climbing Pidurangala rock at sunrise - the views were beautiful. Dinner on our second night was cooked by Ashoka’s daughter and was really lovely. The room itself was good, with a really big and comfortable bed. Unfortunately the air conditioning was broken on our arrival which meant that the room was sometimes uncomfortably warm. Ashoka provided a fan and did everything he could to get the air conditioning fixed as soon as possible - we think that a new air conditioning unit was being installed on the day we left, so hopefully this won’t be a problem for the next travellers. The host kindly gave us a discount as we did not have AC.

The quality of the accomodation is simply sensational. The location, view, comfort, cleanliness, breakfast, attention to detail are top notch. You can see the rock from the garden. Ashoka is the most welcoming and caring host. The breakfast on the patio was really special as monkeys and mongoose paid the visit. :) Totally recommended!
