Attentive host, the rooms are clean and spacious, great breakfast in a peaceful garden with beautiful birds’ singing, located near the Lion Rock, you can even see it from the garden

Just note that the shower is a bit tricky and not separated from the toilet with a glass shield or curtain, but it’s a minor inconvenience, we mostly spent time outside of the room anyways

Very lukewarm warm water from shower, sink only had cold water. Bathroom was a wet room so after a shower to use toilet feet got wet. Host knew 2 people staying yet only one pair of flip flops and one robe. Breakfast was not very good. Not cooked fresh, the worst egg hopper I’ve had. Room was basic.

Exceptional breakfast including roti, hoppers, pancake and lavaria… plus fruit and juice. Excellent location and big room. Ashoka was the perfect host.

Room is big, clean and comfortable. Really good bed. Garden where you can see alle kinds of animals is amazing (even elephants come to the garden at some nights and it's not allowed to go to the garden at night. One elephant came when we were there!). Home made sri lankan breakfast is tasty and plentiful. Host family is super nice and warm. We liked the location just few minutes walk away from the main area of Sigiriya village. There is also few restaurants (S.L. Cafe has really good food) / cafes / bars right next to the accommodation, so it's really convinient and you dont' even need to walk to the main areas of the village in the evening, If you don't feel like.

super nice rooms with a beautiful view of the garden. We saw lots of animals in the garden including several monkeys and an elephant. Restaurants are in walking distance and ashoka kindly organises everything you need.

Everything about the property was wonderful, it was a very comfortable stay. It was close to many restaurants and the lion rock walk. The host was great and very helpful! He helped us arrange many excursions and taxis. We even arrived late at 9pm and he prepared a meal for us. There was constant contact throughout, even up until our next place. Would recommend!

Our best stay in Sri Lanka. We have been to more luxury hotels, but nobody came near to Ashoka and family's hospitality and friendliness. Also, his daughter's cooking skills are great. It was the best breakfast we've had in Sri Lanka. We've also been helped with our itinerary as well, which made the stay very easy.

Really liked our stay! Room is great, good bed and nice terrace where you can watch monkeys enjoying the garden. The breakfast was delicious. Host Ashoka was really friendly and great help with booking taxis and tours!

Shower in the middle of the bathroom. This causes the floor to be wet most of the time.
