Hassop Station rooms on the Monsal Trail

We stayed in the ‘Hassop rooms’ the room was very comfortable with an added bonus of a small fridge. Our booking was for bed and breakfast…we had breakfast at the ‘Hassop station cafe’ the menu was extensive, the food was delicious and the staff professional and friendly. We hired bikes to cycle ‘The Monsal trail’ a disused old railway line so very flat..which was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was immaculately clean and comfortable. The bathroom down the hall was large and had up to date fixtures and shower. The complimentary breakfast at the nearby restaurant was fantastic.

It's next to a very busy roundabout so it can be noisy outside. Also, there are no common rooms so you are either in your room or outside. The location is a bit out of the way and there are no shops nearby to speak of other than the Hassop Station restaurant.

Although it was bed & breakfast, the room I had booked also had a separate sitting room and a fridge

Only the step up to the room which made it awkward enter the door code to the rooms if you had bags/luggage with you.

The location was excellent for trails and getting into Bakewell.

Lovely place - clean, countryside and great cafe and breakfast,

Difficult to get in correct door, get the code for the door to light up and then find the bathroom across the corridor.

The suite was perfect for my mum and I with the spacious bathroom and comfy lounge with kettle and fridge.

The fire alarm had a fault and went off the second night of our stay at 3am but that isn’t something that would usually happen.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Accommodation was very good, good size room and clean
