IbisHouse Farm Stay

Wonderful family run homestay in a quiet area close to Keoladeo National Park. Hosts live and breathe birding and know the area inside out. Birding around the area of the hotel with the hosts was as productive than the safaris we took in the national park itself. Rooms are spotlessly clean and super comfortable. Home cooked food was amazing. Will definitely be back here for some winter birding later this year. Can't rate this place highly enough.

The place is located very close to the sanctuary and in the middle of a green area at a distance from the road. So in the evening, one can only hear the birds while watching the sunset. No traffic noise. Breakfast and dinner were overseen and cooked superby by the host himself. My septugenarian father is fastidious, but he seemed to settle down with the excellent food and nature around him very well. The property does not have an elevator, so people with weak knees may find it hard to move around. But the hosts were gracious enough to help us with our luggage all the way to the top floor. The suite had all the facilities of a fully functional hotel hotel.

Nulla in particolare, l'unica nota non proprio positiva è la posizione in campagna, posto naturalistico interessante ma distante da ogni altra cosa.

We (myself and my parents) stayed for 3 nights in Ibis House. We wanted a place close to Keoladeo National Park that was quiet and still easy to reach the main gate of the National Park. Ibis House felt immediately like home. The rooms are big and really comfortable and the three brothers running it are absolutely amazing hosts! No request was a problem. they even made packed breakfast for us when we wanted to leave very early in the morning for the National Park. I also recommend to try their homemade lunch and dinner with organic ingredients from their own garden. The place is a bit away from the city, but it's easy to arrange transport. We were very happy to sleep in a quiet and peaceful place away from the hustle and bustle.

Mr. Ratan Singh, the owner of Ibis House, is an expert on local birds, and he shared his incredible knowledge with us. Our room was spacious and clean. The homemade food, prepared by Chandra Bhan, was delicious. We ate all of our meals there and every meal was excellent. Rakesh Kumar, the manager was helpful and welcoming.
