Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, die Zimmer gross und wunderschön. Vincent ist ein toller Gastgeber, der uns am Ankunftstag mit einem Aperitif auf der Terrasse verwöhnt hat. Er hatte jederzeit gute Vorschläge für Unternehmungen und gute Restauranttipps. Das Frühstück mit Rührei, Lachs, Obstsalat und Croissants war unschlagbar.

Vicent was amazing as a host making sure we had everything we need, the place was warm, welcoming and clean. The breakfast was lovely with a great selection.

Without doubt, this was the best breakfast experience we've had for many years. A beautiful dining table was laid out for the guests with quality crisp linen, and the food was exceptional. Vincent presented to us everything we could have wanted - the fresh fruit was excellent quality with yogurts, granola and everything you could want. Fresh croissants, top qulaity Fortnum and Mason spreads and to top it all, candles lit in candelabra, which made it all a really memorable experience. I went for the scrambled egg and ham and my wife chose the smoked salmon option. Both came with a lovely salad topping, avocado and lots more, all followed by as much coffee, tea and toast as we could manage. The house itself is gorgeous - tastefully decorated so that it really does feel like a home from home. We stayed in the turret room, with views of the sea, and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, and all under top quality egyptian cotton bedding. The bathroom was massive, with loads of storage/hanging space and even a mine fridge with complimentary water and real milk in a jug, not that horrible UHT in tiny satchets. We had a lovely chat with Vincent in the sitting room when we arrived, where he gave us all (4 of us) a seriously large glass of wine and some really nice nibbles. All in all, the rooms were excellent value for money and exceeded our expectations, and when we next come back to Hastings, this is the place we'll book.

We werden verwend door Vincent met een heerlijk ontbijt en ook goede informatie waar je lekker kan eten. De ruimte was handig ingedeeld en heel schoon. We hebben genoten van de ruimte en ook van Hasting en omgeving.
