Der Aufenthalt war rundum perfekt, wir wären gerne länger geblieben! Sehr bemühte und herzliche Familie, die einen wunderbar bekocht und stets zur Hilfe eilt, wenn man etwas braucht. Auch eine Safari wurde für uns organisiert - alles wunderbar und nur empfehlenswert! 🫶

Silent river cottage is very silent. Near the river on the rooms. I think long is room to river 100m. So beautiful place build the this cottage. Foods is very tasty. Sri Lanka rice & Curry amazing. Very more curry's with the rice. Actually foods is specially rice and curry very tasty 😋. I am highly recommend this place. This cottage operating for family. Amila is owner his wife is cooker and leave in two children doughtier and son. So again highly recommend this place very good hospitality this cottage.

I had a wonderful stay at this guest house in Udawalawe. The property is surrounded by nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and there is even a small river nearby that makes the place feel truly special. The family who runs the guest house is incredibly welcoming, kind, and always ready to help. They took care of organizing the safari for me, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It’s a very beautiful place, and the family is absolutely lovely — warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. I felt at home during my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Udawalawe.

Die Gastgeber Familie hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen, all unsere Wünsche erfüllt und vorzüglich für und gekocht (Frühstück, Mittag und Abend). Sie haben uns eine Safari Tour organisiert, uns mit dem Tuktuk in der Stadt abgeholt und und Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in sehr ruhiger Lage, es ist ein gepflegtes Grundstück mit liebevollen Details und privatem Zugang zum lokalen Fluss in dem man auch schwimmen kann. Sehr gemütliches Zimmer mit Klimaanlage, kleinem Tisch und Kühlschrank. Das Badezimmer ist sehr geräumig und sauber. Die Betten (2 Doppelbetten) waren sehr bequem, mit dicker Matratze und vielen weichen Polstern und Mückennetz.

Die Leute die wir im Zusammenhang mit der Unterkunft getroffen haben (Besitzer Taxifahrer usw.) waren die freundlichsten Leute die wir in Sri Lanka kennengelernt haben und das heißt etwas denn hier sind quasi alle freundlich :) Und für uns wurde alles organisiert (Taxi und Safari) und das für einen sehr guten Preis

Das Bad hätte etwas sauberer sein können. Die Sauberkeit hat allgemein nicht ganz dem europäischen Standart entsprochen. Für die eine Nacht die wir da waren hat es aber trotzdem voll gepasst.

Lovely family host receive me. We chat a lot and I felt a very lucky guest with them. The room and the vegettion outside is so peaceful.
