It is a fantastic place with a beautiful design and facilities!. The host is amazing and super helpful, he was so thoughtful and helped us with all our needs. Food is so yummy, and we had a great time. It is worth it to stay there longer as this place has a true vibe of the resort (they are building the swimming pool). Highly recommended

Janaka went above and beyond to help me prior to my stay, during the stay, and after! He was so easy to contact, I had so many questions, and he was so welcoming and lovely. The family are incredible people and hosts, definitely worth a visit. The breakfasts and dinner - I can’t put into words how tasty and perfect they were, proper mothers cooking and exactly what you need after long days! He arranged transfers, the best safari experience ever, shout out to Vish my tour guide - we saw over 80 wild elephants!! Janaka also messaged me once I reached my next location to make sure I was okay as I was travelling solo. Genuine lovely people!

Nothing - it was perfect!

Wir waren für eine Nacht in der Unterkunft und wurden schon ein paar Stunden nach der Buchung direkt vom Gastgeber per WhatsApp angeschrieben. Wir haben dann über die Unterkunft eine Safari gebucht, die wirklich richtig klasse war. Der Fahrer hat sich unglaublich viel Zeit genommen, was wir super fanden. Der Gastgeber war sehr herzlich und unglaublich genau, fast schon „deutsch-beamtenmäßig“ 😄 Er hat alles sehr strukturiert und detailliert erklärt, was wir aber wirklich sehr gut und hilfreich fanden. Wir haben dort auch zu Abend gegessen, das Essen war das leckerste was in Sri Lanka hatten. Momentan wird gerade ein Pool gebaut, was die Unterkunft in Zukunft sicher noch besser machen wird. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert, vor allem wenn man in Udawalawe eine Safari machen möchte! 🐘🌿

Rundum Sorglospaket. Von der Anreise über die Safari bis zur Abreise wurde alles perfekt organisiert.

Wenn ich mehr als 10 Punkte geben könnte, würde ich es tun, denn diese Unterkunft ist definitiv eine absolute Empfehlung. Ich habe selten einen so liebenswerten, freundlichen und vor allem organisierten Gastgeber erlebt. Es war fast schon bürokratisch deutsch und ich liebte es. Die Unterkunft ist so viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet und es fehlt einem an nichts. Bereits vor unserem Aufenthalt nahm der Gastgeber Kontakt zu uns auf, organisierte uns eine Safari und einen Transport und beides für unschlagbare Preise. Das Essen im Restaurant und das Ambiente ist ebenso einfach traumhaft schön und gemütlich. Die Lage ist perfekt gelegen, wenige Meter vom Elephant Transit Home und zum Eintritt des Udawalawe Nationalparks gelegen. Ich wäre gerne länger dort geblieben und würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

The property is beautiful and staff so friendly - we were welcomed with a tasty juice and as it was dark there were pretty lanterns lit for us - with a welcome chalk board saying our names - lovely little personal touch

This place is incredible! The owner is so helpful even before we arrived with booking us taxis and arranging a safari in the national park. We only stayed one night but could have easily done longer. It's a beautiful place, the decor is amazing and they have really thought of everything, so many lovely special touches. The rooms are great, big comfy bed with a mosquito net and separate little living space. The bathroom is partly open and really cool. We had dinner in the restaurant and all the food was delicious, plus breakfast was the best hoppers we tried in sri lanka! Breakfast was huge and so delicious - fruit, hoppers, juice or you could pick a Western-style one.

The staff were excellent and the food in the restaurant was very good. We also did a safari with them which was great, mainly thanks to the guide.
