Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys

Het personeel is super vriendelijk, gezellig en behulpzaam. Het personeel was super lief voor de zieke vriendin waarmee ik op reis was en zorgden voor haar. Ook ik voelde me direct thuis. We werden allebei opgehaald vanaf onze andere accomodatie, super fijn. De locatie is prachtig en lekker rustig, met zitzakken en hangmatten om in te relaxen. Je kan ook eten bestellen bij de accomodatie, wat handig is!

De locatie is prachtig maar ligt wel wat ver uit het centrum van Bukit Lawang (+- 20 minuten lopen?) en de kamer heeft enkel een ventilator, waardoor het erg warm is

The people were sooooo nice! Everybody was really making you feel welcome and amongst friends almost, we played music together and they helped us out with some important stuff we needed to do for back home. Also the guides they arranged for us and the drivers all were very nice, the food was nice, the tours were nice, we would have loved to stay longer! Ari and Ellie, and Sarah and Agust, and all the staff we don’t remember the names of, thank you very much!

Séjour inoubliable au Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys. Dès notre arrivée, l'accueil par tout le personnel fut très chaleureux et fort sympathique. Notre chambre était très confortable, les repas étaient excellents et variés (merci Eli !). Nous avons fait un trek de 2 jours qui fut merveilleux et mémorable. Nos guides, Coco et Santa, étaient très professionnels et extrêmement attentionnés. Ils s'assuraient constamment de notre confort pour rendre notre randonnée des plus agréable ( plusieurs pauses, collations avec fruits, repas, explications sur la faune et la flore, beaucoup de temps pour observer les orang-outans et autres singes). Nous avons aussi fait un tour du village qui fut très intéressant et instructif (fabrication de tempeh, tofu, sucre de palme, etc.). Merci à la très sympathique propriétaire, Sarah, qui a su nous accommoder pour allonger notre séjour de 2 nuits ainsi qu'à Ade, le gérant, qui était constamment aux petits soins avec nous. Enfin, l'hôtel nous offrait une prise en charge à partir de l'aéroport de Medan (aller/retour) avec deux excellents et sympathiques chauffeurs, Indra et Tondy. On recommande fortement !

Tout était parfait de l'arrivée à l'aéroport jusqu'au départ, le personnel est aux petits soins. Le trek est juste fantastique et atypique. Allez y!! Foncez!!!

Le seul bémol est qu'il n'y a pas d'eau chaude dans les chambres.

The place is a little bit outside the town and for me this is a good thing because it is very quiet and peaceful (they have a restaurant and provide water and free refill).

Nothing, but if I have to say, the good of been isolated can be a problem for someone because there are no other restaurants or shops nearby

The staff are so kind and friendly, really made the experience great. Sarah was very communicative during the booking process too. Eli the chef is really talented, we wished we could have eaten more there!

Vriendelijk personeel mooie lokatie

Houten bank. Maar na dat we zitzakken hadden gekregen was het een stuk beter.

Everyone in Cheeky Monkey is absolutely lovely! I had a Airport pick up in the middle of the night from tondi and he brought me safely to the accommodation. The food is also really good and not expensive at all. I did the two days jungle track with Rian and Sarol and both of them explained a lot, helped us through the slippery parts of the track, respected the animals and we played some games in the camp together. All in all an awesome experience. I’m definitely coming again! 🤗
