Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys

The team were brilliant, full of life and always willing to help out. Laundry facilities, restaurant. Beautiful garden and great tour of the Bat Cave and Local Village with Coco the guide.

The room I stayed in was effectively a shed at the end of the garden. It was very damp, and smelt bad. The closest toilet was a short walk away in the garden and it was terrible. The other rooms looked fine, I suppose it’s luck of the draw if you get assigned this one.

La atención del personal fue buena y la comida en el alojamiento está bastante bien. Reservamos con ellos el trekking de 2 días y 1 noche en el parque nacional y estuvo muy bien. Nuestro guía Coco excepcional.

Nos cambiaron a otro hotel cercano, que no estaba mal pero no tenía agua caliente. La habitación muy básica, para hacer una o dos noches como mucho.

Cheeky monkeys is een zeer leuke lokatie om enkele dagen te verblijven. Van hieruit kun je mooie excursies maken. Wij hebben de batcave tour gedaan met bbq en dit was een hele leuke dag. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en muzikaal. De bedden en het eten zijn uitstekend

De kamer die wij hadden was eigenlijk te klein voor een extra bed. Indien je met 3 personen bent neem dan een grotere kamer.

Das Hotel ist in ruhiger Lage mit einem schönen Garten der zum Entspannen einlädt. Das Personal war sehr herzlich und konnte uns bei allen Fragen behilflich sein.

Les chambres avec salle de bain sont très mal placées et insonorisées: on entend absolument tout. Soirées chaque samedi soir: si vous voulez vous reposer, c’est fichu!

El alojamiento perfecto, aunque hubo un problema y no pudimos dormir en ese sitio, nos dieron un sitio mejor a 2’ del mismo y siempre muy atentos a nosotros. A parte el servicio de treking con orangutanes es sencillamente espectacular y no se puede describir con palabras! Gracias Ryan, gracias Sarold!

The hospitality is really beyond imagination! Loved that we were picked up in Medan and also brought back to the airport. The tours and guides were so nice and funny and child friendly. Great food options - also available based on room service. Laundry service... We felt like at home and will for sure come back.

Cheeky Monkeys is beautifully located, the owners Agus and Sarah and the rest of the staff are very kind. When we were sick we could stay longer and they took good care of us. They are always friendly and helpfull. Also they organize beautiful jungle tours that end with great river tubing. You can eat well there. Varied menu with many vegetarian dishes. The rooms were clean. We had a good time at Cheeky Monkeys because of the beautiful location and the nice staff.

The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated and the shower is cold, but we thought this was good value for money.
