Yakushima Park Guesthouse

The host was so nice and welcome! He drives me to the supermarket, also helps me to dry my shoes! Free washing machine and very near the bus station!

Just only one toilet on 2nd floor, you need to pass by the urinal than to the toilet, others all 900d

The owner was very kind to show us around the house. Facilities were clean.

Rooms had thin walls so if you have noisy inconsiderate people in adjacent rooms, you will have a hard time sleeping. Our room had a bunk bed, a bit hard to get up and down.

The staff at this place goes above and beyond! Initially booked for just one night, they graciously stored my bags for three days, which was incredibly convenient. On top of that, the owner even gave us a ride to a bicycle rental shop on our last day. As for the facilities, they're top-notch, complete with shoe dryers for added convenience.

The location is great! From this guest house, you can easily go to popular destinations(Jomon-Sugi, and Shiratani unsuikyo) with public transportation options and rental cars. Also there are great restaurants in walkable range. Moreover, the host is super kind and he can tell lots of things about Yakushima travel!(you better be good at speaking Japanese)
