breakfast was good but can be better

View was spectacular The rooms are updated and ok, keeping in mind it’s a 13 century building

The access road to the BB was dirt road and treacherous. Albeit it rained however it is very very narrow and it’s a long way down though the olive trees would stop you lol. We got through it by crawling down and back up. I hate to rate it this way because it was very nice, very rustic though.

The quiet and peaceful location. Our host/caretaker was exceptional and a very good chef.

The pillows could be softer

So we had rather high expectations when arriving at Eremo and we we're NOT disappointed. This is just such an amazing place. Word can not describe how well kept and tasteful everything is. The rooms are all unique and special so it doesn't really matter in which one you stay. They are all great. The garden is also amazing but the real jawdropper is the view over the hills, the ocean and Monterosso down below. It's simply breathtakingly beautiful. As the place only has four rooms there are not many people around, including the staff which basically consisted of the super-friendly Thusitha. He prepared our breakfasts and helped out in all the ways you can expect. Just a delight to have around.

It's really hard to fault this place but if there is one thing it has to be the dirt road from the main road. It is not as rough as some people have implied, just a bit bumpy and uncomfortable. If you take is slow it is not an issue.

If i could give an 11 I would but I will just give 10, and thats because the room we stayed in, the ac could not properly cool the whole room, so we were worried our baby would not sleep well but Thusi lent us a standing fan and it was perfect. Thusi is the most attentive, kind person, and everything about this place left us in awe. Breakfast was delicious, the decor, the bathroom was the most beautiful thing i have seen, the whole property was stunning. I am glad we had a car, it really made our lives so much easier with our toddler. Anyway, we had the most amazing time and will come back without a doubt.

I think it would help to send directions Alongside a photo of the entrance as it is very hidden.
