"Perfection"

Location was phenomenal. Wine in the garden overlooking the hills and Mediterranean. Two competing churches announcing sunset. Magical!

I thought it was closer to the water when I booked

Great historical building with amazing view. Nice staff.

The owner charged 50€ more than maximum rate authorized by law as shown in the room. Poor value for money. Poor bedding. No shampoo and conditionner (low quality shower shower gel that provoked skin irritation). Fake orange juice.. not up to 430€ per night

"This place is paradise."

The setting was beautiful. The staff, especially Thisitha was lovely. It was the most the peaceful beautiful place I’ve ever been in my life. The entire property smells like jasmine. Our stay was a dream.

Transportation in the area in general is a bit tough. To get to Monterosso you either have to call a taxi or do a 30 minute hike down the mountain. But that’s normal for this area anywhere you stay. Next time I think we will try to spend more time enjoying the property thanks exploring Cinque Terre.

Stunning view. Very characterful and historic property. Would make a picture perfect wedding venue. Helpful and friendly staff. A great place to stay in Cinque Terre away from crowds.

Our room was a little damp (maybe early in the season). And at breakfast, there was a problem with ants.

The grounds were meticulously maintained and the landscape was breathtaking. The property was well maintained and comfortable. Our room was perfect for us but it did have very steep stairs that some may not be comfortable doing. The staff was magnificent in every way. We would love to revisit this lovely place if we are so fortunate.

It was fine for us because we didn’t mind taking a taxi up and down the hill to town. it some may not want to spend money on taxi . The home down the hill to town, which we did one time, was not an easy hike. it took us about an hour not 20 minutes. If you do the hike do not wear slick shoes or sneakers without traction.
