- beds/ pillows not comfortable / pillows - no bathroom kits (shampoo/conditioner/body lotion - very old hair dryers - breakfast was very poor the second day - no shuttle service do go down to Monterosso (45mn walk)

Very beautiful historic property with amazing view. Thusitha was very nice and helpful. I really liked restaurant recommendations. We had two amazing dinners!

access to town was a little further than i realized. once i confirmed that parking was available at car park then it worked great to to drive to large lot in new town.

The location is stunning with beautiful vistas over Monterosso and the Mediterranean and the restored architecture and maintenance of the site is stellar. The grounds would be a great place to relax in warm weather.

Without a car the location was remote and difficult to access. The manager is very nice but the property was understaffed.

Spectacular location, amazing views, very quiet and private setting. Breakfast was fantastic.

Cost of taxi fare to & from town.

This property was absolutely amazing. We have been to Cinque Terre once before and always love it there. But this time we stayed higher up on the mountain at this location. It was a 10 minute bus ride down the hill (bus comes every 30 minutes) or it was a 15 minute hike down a pathway into Monterosso. Our Host's name was Thisithu and he went over and above every day. We stayed too late in town one night and couldn't get a cab or bus, so he came into town and picked us up. we actually spent a lot of evenings, just sitting around chatting with him, he has a great perspective on life and great stories of Sri Lanka (where he is from) and of Italy (where he has worked for 15 years or so. The property, buildings and views were amazing and we wouldn't change a thing.

Taxis are not always reliable, but the bus always is, but it stops at 10pm

A stunning heritage property overlooking the ocean

The walk down into Monterosso Old Town is a 20-25 minute hike, and a taxi from Monterosso costs 25 EUR to the door of the hotel. Budget for at least 2x taxis per day, and ensure you book a taxi for the evening in advance or risk not getting home. I would strongly recommend the property have more food options throughout the day and evening so guests can spend more time at the property and enjoy its amazing vista and ambience.

Very quiet and peaceful with stunning views

As a hotel it is remote . I was also disappointed in the facilities such as no kettle and tea making facility in the room.

Great property, stunning views. The Manager was friendly and helpful.

It was expensive to stay in the property. We did not mind this but did expect to be able to make a cup of tea in the room. We had a kettle, three odd tea bags a very small plastic spoon and three paper cups. Our friends who had two other rooms had nothing. Very disappointing.
