The lighting in the room (number 6) was very poor. The sink in the ensuite basin did not work, and we could not be given another room, so we had to wash with running water. The owner did not even apologise for the inconvenience. Breakfast selection was poor, and service was very slow. We will not return.

Lovely accommodation &delicious food. Definitely recommend. Very pleasant staff too.

A comfortable hotel serving excellent food and ideally located for exploring the Borders or stopping off for forays further into Scotland or England. The food served for dinner and breakfast was not trying to be too clever and of very good quality and prepared and presented very well.

Everything was good

Everything was exceptional from our room to the host. Our evening meal was delicious and our host was very knowledgeable. View was amazing.

If we had to be picky the bed in our room was a bit short that my feet hung over the side.

Everything about the hotel was very good, the staff were very friendly, the room was very comfortable and we had no problems. Wish we could have stayed longer.

food was excellent and accommodation was brilliant. Lovely vibe about the place and staff were fantastic. Rooms were comfortable and with plenty of secure parking this is going to be a hotel of choice from now on.

I am struggling to find anything to comment on without nit picking. I would stay here again and again.
