Fun Family Guest House n Jungle Tour

Perfect location, not a touristic area and u have the river just next to the house. The staff was amazing too, so helpful and friendly. And the food was great 🥰

Great place to stay, right on the river, we went swimming every day. Putra and Maya a the best hosts. Putra knows everyone and will arrange anything for you I would also recommend going on his jungle trek, he is very knowledgeable about the jungle and the wildlife and the jungle taxi after the trek is great fun. Maya is a brilliant cook. We ate there every day she even made us food one evening when the restaurant was closed so we didn't have to go out in the rain. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Bukit Lawang.

Accommodation with a great view and a great restaurant right across the river. The owner, Putra, was very helpful and positive. There was nothing he couldn't arrange. I especially recommend going on a jungle trek with him because he definitely knows what he's doing.

Putra goes above and beyond to let you feel welcome. He is a great host. He picked me up and dropped me off at the bus station when I arrived and left. I could use the room until I came back from the without paying an extra night.

The room is basic but everything you need and I think you can‘t complain considering the price.

The owners were absolutely wonderful. Putra is an outstanding tour guide and does all he can to protect the jungle. He has unlimited energy and wants you to have one of the most wonderful experiences of your life. The food was fantastic and lots of it. Your tent in the jungle was neat and clean. Your trek is geared to your ability and interest. Guaranteed 99.999% to see Orangutans in the wild with lots of different kinds of monkeys. A trip of a lifetime and me at 82! Putra and Mia traveled for at least 9 hours to get my meds to me and only asked for gas money. Very conscientious and truly wonderful people!

Being in the jungle one cannot expect facilities that are perfect so it takes a little thinking to not have a sink in the bathroom but with some ingenuity to be able use what is there at your disposal.

Putra.. The owner the guide... Is a nice person.. He, takes care of you.. He guides you for the jungle trip.. I appreciate his good behavior

Nothing to be bad about

The guest house is located by a fast paced river. Families come to enjoy the swimming there and the place is full of laughter . Bukit Lawang is an idyllic village with cafes and small shops on riverside. I was travelling solo but was always finding myself in company. Butra, Maya and Juni made me feel most welcome. Great breakfast was always there when needed 😀.

It could get a bit noisy at times.
