Fun Family Guest House n Jungle Tour

The accomodation is in a very good position. Putra and his Family provide you everything you need from AIRPORT TRANSFER, JUNGLE TOUR, RESTAURANT and LAUNDRY. Putra, the Owner was born in town and he knows the Jungle like his pocket. He is one of the best guide in town. Don't waste time to looking for a guide. He is the best already. We did 3 days trek and was an amazing experience. Thank you very much for your passion and kindness

For the price, the hotel is great. The location couldn't be better, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend booking the jungle tour through the hotel. Our guide, Henry, was absolutely amazing, and it was a wonderful experience.

It is exactly in the best spot for jumping and playing around in the river with family and kids. If you're lucky, sunset is just right there!

The wall was so thin and I could hear my neighbors speak on the eve. Cant sleep! The toilet seat is not comfortable and the wooden floor is also so sensitive, Even when people next door move i can feel it in my room.

Putra and his family are so lovely and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and like you have everything you need. All the food I had was great. The accommodation is basic but very clean and in the perfect location. It’s right on the river in a great spot which is popular for jumping off a rock, so the upstairs terrace makes for great people watching. The jungle trek with them was excellent, Putra is a responsible guide who looks after you well. You can book everything and ask any questions when you arrive and he was flexible when I got sick the night before. He also suggested if you are thinking about doing a longer trek that you can decide whilst on the trek if you want to stay longer, rather than having to commit before, which I thought was great!

We had a weird experience in this homestay. We book it for the nice comments but we had a different experience. When we arrive, the check-in day, a woman told us that was fully booked and we asked what to do. We show her the reservation confirmed en she insist that was fully booked in a rude tone. Luckily, an Indonesian boy from our previous homestay came with us and after arguing in their language, this rude woman offered us a room in another place. In the afternoon, Putra (the owner) came and apologize saying that “her wife doesn’t speak english”. We think that the message of his wife was clear: no room for us. It was a weird situation that makes us angry just on the arrival. Then, the place where we stay in the other building was OK with nice views but we could hear everything from the family living downstairs. We couldn’t sleep because the family start to sing at almost 10pm and we woke up with the kid shouting and playing. However, I guess this is the value for the money we paid. We expected more from this place and our experience was not nice.

I ended up staying at the other building the owner has that’s further up the street due to availability. The room was perfect, with an ensuite and fan and a really lovely balcony with a view overlooking the village. It was called ‘Dina.s’. I highly recommend staying there- the owner and his wife were very welcoming and helpful. I think this location is actually nicer than the main building people stay at beside the river.
