Richmond Modern Apartment

Location and convenience We needed temporary accommodation for a couple of days, the apartment was best suited and did not disappoint

Location was good, handy for Twickenham as well as tube to central London. Inclusive parking is a plus. Communication with the owners with prompt and clear.

A little tired around the edges generally. I felt the breakfast/coffee/etc supplies were a little on the ‘mean’ side of things for 4x guests. Aircraft noise is pretty overwhelming during flying hours although not a fault of the property, goes with the territory in that part of town.

Generally clean and comfortable. Prime and Netflix available. Not far from station. Free parking.

No bedding or pillow covers came with the spare duvet so couldn't use the sofa bed hygienically, so left it. The whole point we chose this place was for three beds. Shower water was very hot and couldn't find instructions to resolve this. No heating instructions so couldn't put it on. Garden was untidy and messy. Would have been good if there were basic amenities like sugar or a pint of milk.

Apartment was comfortable and was in a good location.

The sofa bed wasn’t made up and the sheets did have some marks on them… Apart from that, it was perfect for our stay.

It’s a clean apartment. The beds were comfortable and we had extra bedding for the sofa in the living room (which can easily sleep 2). It’s about 10 min walk from the station and from there it’s a 20-30 train / tube ride to Westminster for example. It’s also fairly close to Windsor castle (about 35-40 min train ride). We didn’t have enough time but would have liked to visit the Kew Gardens which are 10 min away (walking distance). We had coffee, some cereal, shower gel and shampoo. We were also able to use the washer and dryer, which came in really handy.

It can seem a bit outdated (the floor, especially, but that could have been done on purpose to preserve “the old look”). The water in the shower gets pretty hot.

Found our flat at the end of a terrace with street parking, which the owners arranged a permit for. Access was up a flight of stairs to the first floor flat. Good space with everything we needed for 3 nights close to London. Richmond is a great area and the location provided easy access to the city as well as town and public transport and amenities.

We had a few problems particularly with the shower hot water which was either scalding or nothing, it made it difficult with the kids. The flat looked like it could do with a few maintenance updates and decorating, things falling off, scuffed walls, kitchen units, lights not working, tv not in English

Extremely quiet apartment , had two great nights sleep . Very close to local amenities and the train station.

It was disappointing overall and the standard did not justify the price: generally shabby; there was mould in the bathroom and the basin was blocked; wi-fi didn't work and so neither did TV; work surface around kitchen tap was rotting; sachets of tea/coffee but no milk!
