Richmond Modern Apartment

Excellent location - 15 min walk from Richmond station. Amazon fresh supermarket next to station Safe residential neighborhood - we walked home at arnd midnight post a concert. Fully equipped -stocked kitchen Warm, clean and comfortable We will definitely return to this great place 🙂

The facility had only one restroom It would have great to add a carpet to the floor Poorly kept garden-an eye -sore

Great apartment and very cosy. Had everything we needed including a TV in every room! Parking outside was no problem and there was always spaces available.

It was a really honest appartment, well located a few mins walk from Richmond station

Very welcoming, homely, and comfortable. Everything you need on arrival if like us you arrive at dark and in rain. There was no need to rush out to find the shop until morning as the kitchen had everything we needed. It was very much appreciated. Clean, comfortable, and warm. Easily accessible from train station and Sainsbury's just up round the corner. Host attentive and responsive. I really liked staying here.

Front garden overgrown and unsightly, but I'm assuming that's the neighbours and nothing to do with the host as the garden with apartment to the back. However, it did not impact negatively on our stay.

The studio's location was great as there was a bus stop nearby, Tube and train are 10 minutes walking distance. It takes 40-50 minutes by tube to get to the center. The rooms were spacious. Kitchen complimentary stuff were sufficient for 4 people and a kind touch. Bathroom toiletries were provided which was nice. Iron and board, 2 hairdryers and full kitchen equipment was very good. Hosts were very quick to respond to questions and problems and they were really nice.

The bed was very uncomfortable in the big bedroom since it felt as if there was a hole in the bed but we managed. The house is very dated, some window handles were missing. The heating makes a lot of noise but works. The shower sprinkler holder on the wall was broken so holding the shower thing in hand while showering was a bit difficult since the curtains didn't cover the whole area and water could leak through.

Nice kitchen, living room and walking distance to the nearest station.

Dead end Road and a bit difficult to get taxi.

Location

The location was good. The two bedrooms is a nice feature for extra privacy at a good price. Good sized rooms. lots of light.

But the apartment is dated, so if that is ok with you then it is fine. Could use another comfy chair in the living room as there is only a sofa and a table with four dining chairs. Steps going up to the apartment are steep and narrow, so be careful if carrying a heavy suitcase. We wanted to make a salad and there was no large enough salad bowl. So we used a cooking pot. So a nice set of stainless steel bowls in different sizes would be a nice touch.
