Everything was beautifully clean, the bedsheets were soft, the view from the window was lovely, and the ceiling fan and bedside lights were lovely additions.

Some cutlery/plates for food and having a TV with an HDMI or Netflix would have been ideal.

The room is very close to the city center and all important attractions. Also, it is nicely decorated and the view is very beautiful. The balcony is perfect for drinking a glass of wine and taking in the view. The bed is confortable and there was a big radiator to warm up the place.

The staff was not very professional. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the address there was no one to let us in and after calling the owner we had to wait outside for around 45 minutes for him to come and make the check in. It is true that I forgot to submit an estimated arrival time but I messaged the owner few days before to tell him what time we land and ask for some directions. Also, he doesn’t speak english.

Very nice and clean room. Nice location about 20 mins walk to centre and main train station.

It was in a good location. The room had a nice city view.

I could smell a bad odour coming from the bathroom, and I had to put up with it for the entire 6 days of my stay. On the first day, when I told the host who introduced me to the room about the smell, they sprayed an air freshener in the room (which must have been a joke!). On the fourth day, the host's spouse came and said they would come the next day to fix the smell in the bathroom, but they never showed up. Another issue was related to the internet. The internet didn't work from time to time (I'm not sure if this is a general issue in Italy). When I told the host, they took care of it and fixed it, but they told me not to watch movies in the room (which made me laugh - to think that I would come to Italy to spend time watching movies in the room:). Of course, I didn't watch any movies, but I think someone staying in a room advertised with internet should be able to watch movies if they want. Overall, I was comfortable in the room aside from these issues, but I don't feel like I got my money's worth because the room wasn't cheap.

We liked the location the most: it was very convenient to walk to the University.

The AC did not work for the first two nights, we asked for assistance and on the third day we were accommodated into another room with working AC.
