Beautiful location, with balcony view looking over a stream and Sakura blossoms. The room itself was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Bookstore owner was incredibly kind and happy to chat and provide suggestions and tips. I wished I would have booked two nights to thoroughly enjoy the city and the room. Cannot recommend enough.

It was perfect for staying to hike and visit onsen. No negatives.

My short stay here was one of the highlights of my trip. For one you’re in an onsen town, walking distance from every bath house. I made a friend for life with the owner and got to share a few drinks with him and some locals. will most definitely be back. おつかれ！

the owner is very kind, everything super clean, with own balcony

just the mattress could be thicker(and maybe the pillow). because it was very slim. maybe its uncomfortable for people from europe
