A simple bedroom above a bookstore and cafe. The room is relatively spacious, complete with a desk, couch, and low table. fifteen minute walk from the train station, and literally 30 seconds from the nearest onsen. Very comfortable, good heating in the cold months! The staff are super friendly and can make recommendations for anything you’re interested in. I really enjoyed chatting with them. Definitely with it if you want to visit Kinosaki Onsen and have a unique experience!!

Easy check-in with the bookstore staff (bookstore is in the first floor of the building). Room is quite spacious for japanese standards, clean and neat. Neighbourhood is quiet. Staff is very friendly and provides extra towel (for onsen), slippers and basic toiletries for free.

Everything was fine. Just be aware that there is no option for cooking (water kettle is in the room, microwave is in the common room) and no shower (but you will probably go to an onsen anyways). The "common room" is not heated, so it's quite cold in winter.

The room is situated on top of a bookstore, the people are young and dynamic, and extremely helpful. The room was ample and, the communal toilets are situated close by. Kinosaki is a very good place to visit and to relax because of the 7 onsen.
