Private bathroom means across the public landing not disability friendly

Comfortable bed, mini fridge, filter coffee and various teas were in the room. The unusual and eclectic mix of decor everywhere spoke of travels made. Sarah, the owner, is a genuinely good person who is friendly and helpful to an extreme. She even picked us up from the train station in the rain.

We loved it, but if you prefer clear spaces around you, this is not the place for you.

It is safe to say we have never stayed in any accommodation quite like Belmont House. The first thing I would say is that it is unlikely that you will ever meet another hostess quite like Sarah. Her energy, her warmth, her vibrancy, her welcoming, her hospitality are all wonderfully impressive. Sarah is one of those few people in life that you can genuinely say you are privileged to have met. And it was a privilege! Her house is ‘quirky’ in the nicest possible way….. it is full of her memories and reflects her nature and love for life. Walking in to Belmont House made me smile…….with happiness. I can recommend without any hesitation that should you decide to stay with Sarah you will have an amazing experience.

Everything about the B&B was good.

It was a very quirky place to stay but amazing. Room decor was intriguing and very colourful. Facilities were excellent. Breakfast in bed was divine, suitably plentiful for any palate and served with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble for the hostess, who definitely went the extra mile, making our stay a very enjoyable experience.

There was nothing to dislike.

Das Haus macht seinem Namen „The Kingsley Collection“ wirklich alle Ehre. Es gibt einen Überfluss an internationalen Sammlerstücken und kleinen Nettigkeiten wie z.B. eine große Auswahl freier Getränke oder Kosmetikartikel. Überall sind bunte Farben. Zuerst etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber wir haben uns schnell sehr sehr wohlgefühlt. Dazu hat vor allem auch Sarah, unsere außergewöhnliche Gastgeberin mit ihrer wirklich großen Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft beigetragen. Erwähnenswert ist auch das Frühstück, dass Sarah sehr individuell und nach Wunsch vorbereitet hat! 😋

Das Frühstück wird auf dem Zimmer serviert, das fühlte sich bezüglich Platz und Sitzgelegenheiten manchmal etwas beengt an. Hat aber den Vorteil, dass man, wenn man möchte, auch mal im Schlafanzug frühstücken kann.
