Villa was a wonderful place to stay and the hosts were fabulous. Veronica recommended a lovely place to eat that was within walking distance and it was easy to come and go as you like. Water was provided in the room and the screens in the room were in very good condition so we were able to sleep with the balcony doors open. The breakfast was simple, but perfect for an early morning start.

The breakfast was rather basic but all efforts were made by a very lovely host. The garden would be lovely in warmer weather.

In 'off-season' February, the house felt cold although a fire was burning to warm what it could.

Very good value. The environment, the house, the room ... very pleasant, comfortable, quiet. It is quite some way on foot from the train station but that was OK.

My 8 note only for one thing: the microwave is out of order. I was counting on it to have a warm meal in the evening as there isn't anything in the vicinity.

Amazing place and wonderful owner who welcomed us warmly. We were walking the Camino di San Jacopo and this place was a lovely sanctuary to arrive to after a long day. The whole building is full of charm and has a homely feel. The owner kindly helped us order food for delivery, as we were too tired to walk back to town and had no supplies on us. The view from the property's balcony was lovely, a great introduction to Tuscany for us.

The only difficulty was walking up a big hill to reach the property - fine if you're coming by car/bike though, or if you aren't a weary pilgrim!

the location was lovely, our room was really big and beautiful. the accomodation was full of beautiful old furniture. we had an amazing Sunday lunch a meal to remember. our bed was really comfy. the family were such lovely people. I would highly recommend a stay.

nothing we loved everything

Nice big room, great view, on the edge of town, practically a villa. We had access to a fridge and could make coffee whenever we wanted. Family restaurant downstairs that catered to individual tastes/preferences. This was our longest stay on our trip, and you never know when you're booking (as we discovered with other stays!), so we felt like we lucked out with this one. It was excellent value.

Nothing to do with this place in particular. The breakfast that B&B's in Italy can serve are super unhealthy - all sweets and carbs. The ones here were high quality. The bathroom was far away from the room, but we had it to ourselves and it was really nice.
