Locanda Giolica

It was a bit like staying in a small castle. I liked the location and the view from the balcony, the antique furniture and deco. The room was spacious and offered a great view to Prato. If you have a car, the location is great. On foot, it will be too far from the station. Traveling to Florence is easy and cheap by train, but I actually enjoyed Prato too as Florence is too busy with tourist. I was glad I stayed away from Florence and have peace in the accommodation to unwind.

We are very pleased with our stay at Locanda. Having received the benefits of modernity, we were able to move into the past ages, to feel the spirit of several generations of rulers. We also received pleasant impressions from a delicious breakfast, coffee, hospitality and much more surrounded by beautiful nature. Everything was incredible!

A wonderful, stylish house located at the very top of the Giolica district in Prato, which may be associated with Beverly Hills! The house is equipped with antique furniture from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Large rooms: dining room, living room, hall with a beautiful stove. Large bathroom. From the window of my room there was a beautiful view of the center of Prato. The breakfast included in the price of the apartment was delicious. You could prepare them yourself because the dining room had all the necessary products and a capsule coffee machine. I'm very happy.

The owner is a great host. The Locanda is a very beautiful villa, located in a quiet area with private parking. It is 15-20mins walking from Prato station. Highly recommended.
