Yonan River Face Safari Resort

Beautiful place, very comfortable house and wonderful garden. The owner is very friendly and the dinner was the best! Highly recommended!

Yohan River is an oasis, beautiful cottages facing a beautiful little lake, with the sounds of dirds and peackoks, food is very good and plentiful, Yohan is an amazing host.

Really friendly hosts who helped to organise the safari, transport, recommended nearby sights to see (Sri Sankapala Rajamaha Viharaya) and served tasty food!

The property is near the lake in a quiet rural area. We have been travelling as a family and there is a lot of space for children to play. The owner is one of the friendliest persons we have meet on any of our travel’s. He helped us with safari organisation, gave us advices for sightseeing and helped us with further trip organisation.

The river is beautiful and the accommodation very clean and well equipt.

The place is a real paradise. Right along the water with a spacious outdoor area, a perfect place to relax and enjoy. The homemade food was really good and the owner did everything to make us comfortable and help. We could use the bicycles to ride to town, which was a real asset. The kayak was also there to use and it was beautiful to paddle around the lake. The cottages are equipped with air condition and spotless clean. It was the best accomodation I had in Sri Lanka. There was this sense of tranquility and archaic beauty about it, that made it really unique. We also booked the Safari with the owner and had a great time in the Udawalawe National Park with a very knowledgeable and helpful driver.
