Santiago was very nice and helpful. The room had great AC and the facilities were nice. Located really close to the square.

The pool and hangout area is smaller than expected, but still very nice. Maybe some more chairs would help.

It’s a beautiful space with gorgeous rooms and very affordable. Also the restaurant is delicious.

Location close to the center and a restaurant next door for morning coffee. Could have used the community kitchen but didn't have coffee or breakfast things in our bags 😕 you'll get a front door entry code with your confirmation so you can get off the street and into your room. Over head fan and ac all good. New bathroom in room 6, but too close to the evening restaurants kitchen. Wish they were open for morning coffee.

The accommodation is located at the back of a restaurant and It's very close to the Zocalo so perfect for a cheaper stay in Bacalar, but it's at least 30 mins walk from the lagoon clubs. We actually found this worked well for us as we had more choice for food and bars in the evening time. The space felt secure and the outdoor area was really pretty with hammocks and nice to hang out in. The kitchen is well equipped. The towels and bed linen were good but we needed to ask for an extra blanket as the ones provided were too small. There is no reception so all communication is done via Booking or WhatsApp, which wasn't really an issue as they are very responsive.

There was a terrible smell of sewerage in our bathroom. Not sure if this is the case in all rooms as our room was number 5 and located next to a separate outdoor toilet. We also found a cockroach in the bathroom one day but that could happen anywhere... The pool is really tiny and not really a pool.

The proximity to various nightclubs or bars with loud music going to late hours. Other than that is centrally located with easy access to the main square and restaurants

Very clean, large room with a large comfortable bed. We never met the hosts but they were super responsive and helpful when communicating via the app. Drinking water provided was a plus! We didn't use the kitchen for cooking but the facilities looked good. Location is great, just a 5min walk to the main square

The drains in the bathroom were very smelly. We had to keep the toilet lid closed and the door to the bathroom shut otherwise the whole room smelt.
