Short walk from the beach, nice clean spacious hotels, nice boys working at the hotel, restaurant across the road nice

About a 20 min walk to the main restaurant strip (nothing a 4 min tuk tuk can’t solve) upon arrival the owner was very nice and showed us to our room immediately despite being super busy but then unfortunately he asked to see my booking on my phone, I handed him my phone and he held it for a couple of minutes, my partner and I didn’t know why. About half an hour later when we asked to pay, he asked me if I had requested to change the dates of our stay on booking.com from 3 nights to just 1 night to which we said no we hadn’t? What he probably didn’t realise is that booking.com sends you an email once you make a request like this. The email came through at the time he had my phone in his hands. We don’t care about this/ his reasons for doing this money wise but would have appreciated some honesty and not being asked why we did this even though it was obviously him. He was quite pushy in offering us tours including dolphin watching and warned us of the dangers of going with somebody on the beach. He constantly asked us about whether we wanted to book a tour even on the last day. He was a really nice man but just needs to be less forward.

The room was just as expected from the description and photos. It’s just a 5-minute walk from the beach, which is super convenient. The host also runs a restaurant a few streets away with great food and excellent value for money.

Excellent location, just a few hundred metres to the beach and also a range of cafes and convenience stores. Clean, comfortable room. Lovely quiet fan. The owner is really helpful. Bicycle hire available at a reasonable rate. Overall, good value for money.

A bedside reading lamp would have been good. Also, somewhere to wash the sand off your feet before you enter your room.

The room was clean with a brand new air con machine. The hotel was close to the station via tuk tuk and only a short walk to the beach.

The beach bar as advertised in the photos is not part of the hotel. The bar is around a 25 minute walk along the beach, though there are other beach bars/sunbeds which are closer. On arrival, there were builders working at the property but they soon stopped once we checked in. There was a very loud generator noise which sounded frequently. We suspected this came on whenever water was being used in the hotel. The noise was quite disruptive of our sleep.
