the location, the homey feeling, the owners are so friendly and helpful in every way,

We had a great stay in Ponta Delgada! The location is super accessible to nearby downtown but is quiet given it's proximity to numerous restaurants and bars. The beds were comfortable and the place was well stocked.

We started noticing and unpleasant odor in the bathroom (from the pipes?) around our second day. We didn't bring it up as we only had one more day and though it was just temporary and would go away, however it got worse - hopefully just an issue for the one time.

This is such a great place. We only stayed for our last night but would have based ourselves there for the whole holiday if we'd known how great the location is, how friendly the owner and how very comfortable the space is. Highly recommended!!

Everything was great, no complaints

Close to the city center. Quiet place, comfortable.

good location. good value. bed adequate in terms of comfort. no front desk, so arrange with owner when you will arrive so you can get in. He was there as arranged.

stairs could have better lighting. some areas of bathroom could be cleaner--significant rust /water stains on walls under one vent, for example.

Loved everything about my stay. It felt like home :)

Some sheets do not smell nice but i assume its the humidity
