Location, price

Difficult parking, No wardrobe or any space for clothes and other personal belongings (maybe for 1-2 days okay, but not for a week), problems with hot water. Cleanliness was so so, but microwave was really disgusting. We were afraid to warm up any food there. And top shelf in bathroom was dirty too.

If you want an authentic experience of Ponta Delgada - this is your place. The location is ideal - you find yourself in an old building on a quiet street at a walking distance, just minutes, from the historical center and everything you may need or may want to see. The place is clean, comfortable, and gives you a feeling of being a family guest. Afonso is very friendly and helpful, providing good advice on everything non-obvious that you may need in town, from places to eat and buy (Apito Dourado was his recommendation of a closest good place to eat) to fado concerts. It will always stay as a good memory. Strongly recommended.

Family accommodation as it used to be (i.e.: nice). Very attentive, personable and helpful hosts who actually make you feel welcome. The simple things done well: Clean rooms, clean house, warm hearts.

Alonzo is a good host.

Quiet neighborhood, nice owners who live on property. Comfortable room and clean.

I visited as a backpacker on a budget so for me this was perfect . Great value , very clean , great facilities and the room I stayed in, the sunflower room had a small balcony to sit out on and people watch . Perfect !
