"Perfect option in guesthouse category!!"

Agree with all the reviewers- really cozy and feels just like home! It’s an authentic Azorean house, and the owners, Afonso and Fatima, and housemaid (sorry, didn’t ask her name) were very friendly and helpful! I stayed in Girassol (Sunflower) room for 5 days, which has a lovely balcony - perfect for morning coffee:) The shared bathroom was very convenient - I didn’t even met any of the other guests! It was fully stocked with all the bathroom essentials. The hosts really took care of every detail so that guests have everything they need! Location is superb! Bus stop to the island routes - just at the corner. Ocean promenade, Pingo Doce supermarket, the city centre - within a 5minute walk!

"A hidden gem - prepared with love and care"

I’ve been traveling for 6 years and every once in a while I find a hidden gem. This was one of them. Super cute and clean and prepared with a lot of love and care. They provide anything you could ever need and the family is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place. I loved my room and everything about it. The location is also ideal. This one’s a winner!

Perfect accommodation! The house and room were spacious, clean and nice. Good location, close to the city center and the port. Everything I needed was there. A big plus is that the host and his whole family are super nice, friendly, helpful and generous. I felt great there and enjoyed it! 😊

The hosts were nice, everything was clean, great location. There was a shared bathroom that is located downstairs, it was very clean and didn't feel like a shared bathroom.

I could hear every step of the neighbor from the room upstairs.
