"Superb"

Beautiful traditional-style BnB run by a fantastic couple. Pleasant communal areas with log fires, good work stations / dining room tables. Room was comfortable clean and very quiet.

WiFi was unstable (fine for browsing, not for video / calls), although most of Cusco is like that. We didn't realise it was so far up the hill! Great for visiting Saqsaywaman though

Great location for staying in shape yet still easy access to town. Hosts are fantastic and it was remarkably quiet. The hot water in the showers was amazing.

Internet wasn't very good, but owner knows this and is trying to get it fixed.

Italia was the most amazing host. In addition to being so welcoming and providing wonderful accommodation she went out of her way to help us with some personal issues we had. Spending her own time away from Maison Fortaleza to assist us. Italia also arranged a private tour for us to sacred valley and joined us for the day as tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and made the day special for us. When we were doing a tour to Macchu Pichu she pointed out that my treking poles would not be acceptable at this site and offered to lend me hers if required. This was really appreciated as to turn up and find that I could not use my poles would have made the day much harder.
