Comfortable clean bed lovely shower and bathroom. Allowed to leave luggage as could not get in room until 3pm check in.

The room was too claustrophobic for me as it was a basement room. There was no other space to sit and rest other than the room no indoor space.

Room was slightly unclean. The bedding smelt. Room looked like it needed a lick of paint.

Fabulous location right near the shambles.

Initially hard to find. Quite secluded which is also a positive. Probably could do with a hanging sign out the front just to make it easier to find.

Ein gepflegtes und kleines Hotel direkt in der Fußgängerzone von York. Eingang ist versteckt und leicht zu übersehen aber wenn Mann den Gang und Hof betritt gibt es im wahrsten Sinne ein Wow Erlebnis. Die Zimmer sind thematisch gestaltet und trotzdem gemütlich.

Das Gebläse im Bad hatte einen Lagerschaden und war leider sehr laut. Das ist ein leichter Makel aber leicht behebbar und danach wäre es eine 10 von 10

The location is spot on. Right in the centre of y York. Historic building within a private residence meaning no passing people noise. Decor was in keeping with the building and the courtyard was small but private.

It's probably been said before and with it being a listed building [meaning they can't put in A/C], I get it but, on the first night we stayed it was 30c+ in the room. The rooms were provided with floor fans but they didn't cut it. Also, the main window had a restrictor on it meaning it was only possible to open the window 2 inches! You can buy standalone AC units online.
