Size of the room.

The location and the staff when I got the keys from the 3 Swans pub. Then the free pint when I went back 'early doors'. Very friendly people and staff.

There were vertical blinds but somebody had broken the cord to shut them. Luckily it wasn't a big window.

It was 2 minutes walk to the function we was attending!!!

The place was nothing like it was advertised and when we eventually got the key to the room, the bathroom had no towels and no toiletries, the mirror was dirty and probably haven’t been cleaned for weeks!! There was a broken electric radiator!! We were given a key to a room and there was someone staying in there, so we took the key back to the bar who was looking after our booking, when my wife was waiting, she opened another room door and it was completely disgusting, the room hadn’t been cleaned or tidied up, she was beginning to think that was our room! The room that was offered didn’t have quality bed linen and the floor wasn’t clean, to sum up it was probably the worst experience of our lives staying in hotel accommodations!!

Location was good. Central to the town and good access to rail station. Budget price and the staff in the pub where you collect the keys were friendly and helpful. The free drink is a nice touch.

Quite unclean in most areas of the room. Toilet seat filthy and when I tried to clean it was really hard to scrub off so seemed like it had been like that a while. There was no curtain or blind on the window and when I messaged the owners they said they weren't aware and maintenance would come tomorrow which didn't help me at all. Smell of cigarette smoke in the hallways and in the bathroom. Bedding and towels smelled clean however the bed did have some crumbs/bits in it and the towel was stained
