THE HOG

The room was clean and had all we needed. Close to street markets and the river to get a ferry across.

The host was so lovely and sweet. Everything was very clean and location wise, you really feel like you live like a local as there are loads of schools in the area and you get to see the day to day activities. We could also walk to quite a few places. We could even see a temple from our window. Would really recommend if you are looking for a calm place to stay.

The host, Auntie Lek, was very helpful and friendly. Nice quiet location, only a few rooms with a locked gate so very safe, not far to various attractions or public transport, the groundfloor room we stayed at for the last 2 nights was small but comfortable enough with a fridge and small desk, the shower and bathroom were fine -

little short of electric outlets, but that's quite common, watch for the upstairs rooms, they are not like the pictures! - the fridge and balcony and desk are not in the room but a common area outside the rooms -

Very comfortable and friendly staff, a quiet place not far from the center, but across the river a little far to get if you plan to go to the city center many times. Next to the house there is an embankment by the river, where you can walk and relax, nearby is the temple Wat Arun you can walk.

If you stay for more than 3 days, the room will be too small for two people, but I was alone - so it was comfortable.
