THE HOG

The owner/landlady is the absolute sweetest, most helpful person you'll find in hospitality, she went out of her way to assist me in finding more permanent accommodation! The bathroom/shower is great, bed is comfortable, and there's a sizable fridge. It's also about a 5 minute walk to 7-11, and about 15 minutes to Big C Supermarket, and a very pleasant Amazon Coffee Shop.

If you're in Bangkok as a tourist on short stay, it may be slightly distant from some tourist sites, or bars, etc. I actually preferred the distance from the crowds.

Lot of mosquitos…

Lovely host, nice room and a great and relatively quiet location.

The quiet location

I love the calm atmosphere. More like countryside

-a lot of happy mosquitoes -couldnt book grab/bolt-unable to find the hog -1 room ac was not cool enough -

The lady was very nice at reception.

Rooms not clean. Water leaking from toilet and pipes above. They gave our room away even though we informed them our flight was delayed. The we had to pay more for the room they gave us. Felt dupped and ripped off.

I particularly liked that we found a small hotel/ guesthouse really in a very quiet residential area for an incredibly good value price. I don’t like big chain hotels but prefer to support local people and this was just right and an easy walk to Memorial Bridge to catch ferry’s on the river.

Spacious shower but floor had not been designed for water to flow easily away . A very minor point.

The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the tourist areas. The room and bathroom were comfortable, and the cleanliness was exceptional.

Nothing to mention

We couldn’t have had a better stay in Bangkok! The location was excellent, we had a great time walking from the property to temples, Chinatown, Icon Siam, and more. The staff were very kind and welcoming, plus they had great recommendations for the area. The room itself was clean and comfortable plus the a/c worked great. We would definitely stay here again!
