Pilar en Diego zijn fantastische hosts!! We werden met zoveel liefde en aandacht ontvangen en verzorgd. Ik leer nog maar net Spaans te spreken maar Pilar communiceerde heel rustig en duidelijk zodat we elkaar toch begrepen. En ook dankzij Google Translate ;-) Als we vragen hadden konden we altijd een whatsappje sturen en we kregen goede tips voor leuke plekjes in Cusco. Het ontbijtje op het dakterras in de ochtend was een perfect begin van de dag. Het was heel fijn om onze eerste dagen in Peru bij deze lieve mensen door te brengen en even rustig te acclimatiseren en te wennen aan de hoogte. De locatie is ook top, we liepen zo het centrum in. Prima plek!! Wij zouden hier graag nog eens terug komen.

De kamer was prima voor ons tweetjes. Het bed en de douche zijn altijd het belangrijkste als je ergens gaat slapen en dat was allemaal prima in orde. Neem alleen wel een oogmasker mee als je graag in een donkere kamer slaapt. Maar dat lijkt me als je gaat reizen sowieso geen overbodige luxe want je weet nooit waar je terecht komt.

The room was actually quite good—spacious, clean, and comfortable for a stay. The host was also very nice and friendly toward us, which we appreciated.

the property operates more like a bed-and-breakfast than a traditional hotel, with no on-site reception. This became a problem when we left our keys inside the room; it was difficult to reach anyone for assistance. We also had one day with no hot water, which was frustrating. The location is somewhat inconvenient as well: it’s a 7–8 minute walk from the main square going uphill, and a challenging 8–9 minute walk back due to the incline. This makes it less convenient, especially when carrying luggage or wanting quick access to the city center.

We stayed in this guesthouse twice for multiple days, before and after a multi-day hike. Pilar was an exceptional host, so kind, helpful and generous. She made us fresh breakfast on the sunny rooftop each morning, gave us excellent local advice, stored our luggage while we were on our hike, helped us with laundry, and made sure we were well taken care of. The room was spacious with a comfy bed, and there was hot shower and a space heater, which you cannot take for granted in Cusco. We were fortunate to find this little gem in Cusco.

Friendly host. Spacious room, good location on Main Street but in a quiet area.

No lift, carrying bags up three flights of stairs! Room doesn’t have many amenities, would have expected at least a couple of glasses

Sehr gute Lage. Gemütliche Zimmer! Sehr nette Familie bei der man sich sehr herzlich willkommen fühlt!

Leider haben wir das von uns gebuchte Zimmer nicht bekommen. Wir bekamen aber eine Entschädigung dafür!

Pilar and her family are so welcoming - filling my cup with coca leaves on arrival, and my heart with generous conversation. The location is ideal - a 5 min walk to the centre of town; a sense of peace while all remains accessible. I enjoyed breakfasts on the rooftop with views stretching to the apus, sun warming & soulful. (Freshly squeezed orange or papaya juice, eggs, bread and coffee/ yum)! My room was spacious, clean, warm and well lit. Pilar gave top recommendations - so I knew where to find the best chicken soup just minutes away and … her daughter’s excellent cafe in San Blas!

There was nothing I didn’t like about it - Pilar makes this place feel like home.

Die Lage war super um die Stadt zu erkunden, die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Bett war bequem.

Es war sehr feucht kalt, die Standheizung konnte das Zimmer kaum erwärmen, die Handtücher waren daher immer leicht nass gewesen. Es hat an einigen Ausstattungsmerkmalen gefehlt wie Nachttischlampe, Stromkabel für Smart-Tv Nutzung.
