The breakfast was of good quality; however, the portions were rather small. Additionally, the payment process involving U.S. dollars was inconvenient, as it required an extra currency exchange fee. The electrical outlets in the room were not compatible with standard devices such as phone chargers or hair straighteners, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. Furthermore, considering the price (everywhere in Cuzco 45 dollars per night), it was disappointing that basic amenities such as shower gel and shampoo were not provided. Be aware: this is NOT a hotel! The room itself was very minimalistic and lacked the level of comfort one would expect at this price point. Another issue was the constant noise from tour buses, which were parking and departing throughout the day, significantly affecting the overall experience. Moreover, while a fridge and microwave were shown in the pictures, these amenities were not available in reality. We paid $60 per night, which is relatively expensive for Cusco, especially given that more comfortable hotel stays are available at lower prices. We chose Casa Augustina based on the photos, but unfortunately, the actual experience did not match the expectations set. Lastly, although a television was provided, there was no cable service available nor Netflix. Overall, the stay did not offer good value for the price paid. In the end the owner even asked us to paid the last night even though it was already paid. Too much drama for that price.

La amabilidad de Pilar, la anfitriona y sus hijas. Te hace el desayuno como si fuera de tu familia. Estupendas vistas de la catedral desde el balcón. Me sentí como en casa.

Ruidos de animales por la noche, aunque esto no depende del establecimiento.

The most amazing host who made a great breakfast every morning on her lovely terrace. Our room was spacious and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. There was also a large TV with Netflix included which was a nice touch.

The only slight issue was the hotel was slightly further away from the main square than we realised

Was für eine tolles Gastgeberin! Wir wurden unglaublich freundlich empfangen und bei allen Fragen und Wünschen super unterstützt. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut. Das Zimmer sauber und sehr geräumig, super Dusche, bequeme Betten, Heizlüfter. Das Zentrum ist bequem in 10 min zu Fuß erreichbar.

La ubicación, si bien es cerca de la plaza de Armas, está en una calle oscura y poco transitada, nos dio inseguridad. La señora q nos recibió estaba más preocupada en cobrarnos que en recibirnos, nos siguió hasta la misma habitación con el posnet en mano en el momento de llegada, nos pareció de muy mal gusto. La habitación parecía un ex estudio de baile reformado, vacía, fría e imposible de calefaccionar, ya q sólo había un calentador eléctrico de pie que nos sugirieron sutilmente no tener encendido todo el tiempo para q no nos doliera la cabeza (leáse, no incurrir en grandes gastos) impensable pensar q ese solo aparato pudiera calentar semejante espacio casi vacío. Muebles escasos para tanto espacio, incluyendo un sillón viejo sobre una alfombra raída. Ni un cuadro ni nada q diera calidez a ese lugar. El colchón era de mala calidad y, a manera de almohadas, dejaron 2 almohadones gigantes, sí, no había almohadas, sólo almohadones. Había una sola mesita de luz, vieja por cierto, y ningún velador. TODO era incómodo, Nadie había pensado en el confort del huésped, se notaba q sólo querían hacer negocio. En el baño, aunque promocionaban elementos de aseo personal, sólo pusieron 2 mini jabones y nada más, ni champú, ni vaso para cepillos de dientes, ni nada. No había un solo gancho ni un estante donde poner cosas o colgar. Ni un solo detalle de amorosidad en esa incomprensiblemente gran habitación, desangelada y de mal gusto. Contratamos 5 noches. Pagamos 5 noches. Pero dormimos esa 1ra noches y decidimos irnos a otro hotel. Hasta el día de hoy no nos han reembolsado el dinero que quedó a nuestro favor. Intervino Booking pero tampoco hemos logrado nada. El hotel MINTIÓ 1ro diciendo q no nos presentamos a la reserva y luego diciendo que sí fuimos y que nos dieron dinero en efectivo como reembolso, lo cual es absolutamente falso. Y aunque mi intención no era perjudicarlos, frente a tanta mala fe, escribo la realidad de los hechos. Sigo esperando que me reembolsen.
